Did you know that more than 5% of children in the Netherlands live in poverty? This means that in every class there are on average 1 to 2 children affected by this. Many of these children do not have their own laptop, which contributes to a digital gap. This prevents them from working on their lessons at home. Maintaining social contacts, gaming with friends and arranging banking matters is also made difficult without a laptop. Digidromen, together with its partners, is committed to closing this gap. We work towards a world where all children have equal opportunities to develop to their full potential, regardless of their socio-economic background.For all school children in the Netherlands.
Digidromen is for all school-going children in the Netherlands between the ages of 6 and 18, whose parents do not have the financial means to buy a laptop themselves. The children receive not only a refurbished Windows 11 laptop, but also the right accessories such as a mouse, headset and a nice backpack. The commonly used software is already installed. The telephone helpdesk is there for them, should there be any problems.Together we make the dream a reality.
