The story of three friends and their shared vision.

A powerful collaboration arose with the bundling of their experience in the retail, distribution, and online selling of Apple products. What once began as a project of three friends in a garage in the centre of the Oude Pijp, went on to become a large, renowned business with the trust of many national and international organisations. Let's run through the history of Pro Warehouse.

The first official address.

The first official address.

November 2006 was the month. After months of discussion, deliberation and planning (and drinking), the three lads took the step of founding a business. A friend who happened to be an importer of Hungarian Champagne was kind enough to make an office and warehouse available at Van Ostadestraat 154, in Amsterdam. The first official address of Pro Warehouse was a reality. The client base steadily expanded. It soon became obvious that the business location was key to acquiring new client contacts. Shortly afterwards in February 2007, the impossible was achieved with the finding of premises on one of the impressive Amsterdam canals. The new location was number 75 on the Keizersgracht. A splendid, stately building with the oh-so-desired look. The intended effect was a success: the brand recognition of Pro Warehouse grew rapidly and the first additional staff were taken on.

Relocation becomes inevitable.

Relocation becomes inevitable.

However, traffic along the Amsterdam canals suffered greatly with the growing daily stream of goods. Moving soon became unavoidable. The increase in size needs and customer demand sent Pro Warehouse on the hunt for a proper industrial estate. After an attempted break-in on Boxing Day 2009, the entire Pro Warehouse warehouse moved to a new location on the Kuiperbergweg in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost. A business contact friend was so thoughtful as to make this space immediately available That same night, the entire warehouse contents were moved and business continued as normal the next day. With office and warehouse no longer at the same location and development continuing, the taking on of more staff was inevitable. A delivery van was purchased and orders destined for Amsterdam were delivered by Pro Warehouse itself.

After splitting office and warehouse, and with expansion continuing, a new location was found in 2010; Paasheuvelweg 34-C in Amsterdam. After a cluster of moves in such a short period and with the continuing growth in mind, the choice fell on a place where any increase in size would not be a problem. This was a considerable advancement with its two and a half times more office space and a warehouse more than five times as large. Office and warehouse were once again under the same roof, and that paid off. Within three months after the refurbishment of the new premises, 34-D also became part of Pro Warehouse.

Things really took off in early 2011. Paasheuvelweg 34-A and 34-B were also signed up for partner companies. Pro Warehouse grew over the following years, and, in 2017 came the addition of a new focus area. Services began to be provided. Clients could find both hardware, ancillary services and support at one provider. The benefits were soon clear. New premises are added almost every year to house all the new staff.
